If you attended t he TLI on Tuesday, January 10th, I spoke on Quality Hybrid Club Meetings. Reach out to me if you have any questions. These pictures show the setup at Sunday Speakers.
I have a total of 3 laptops/tablets. The projector that we use is in the meeting space that we use. The laptop/tablets are about 3 - 5 years old. So any recent laptop should work. We use one laptop as the host and timer. We sign into Zoom as host on this laptop so that we can control who comes into our meetings. The 2nd laptop is placed at the lectern so that the camera is used for the speakers and such. This laptop is also the one connecting to the projector so that everyone in person can see who is online. The 3rd is a Lenovo Tablet that is setup to show the audience. Only the lectern laptop has sound enabled on it to prevent feedback. We do use an external microphone and speakers.
You mainly want to be sure that you have a stable internet connection and enough bandwidth to handle video streams.
If you are in the San Antonio area, I invite you to come see the setup we use at Hope Church, 18850 Redland Rd, San Antonio, TX 78259. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 1:30 pm. Yes, we meet in a church but you do not need to be a member to attend or join our club at Sunday Speakers. The church has graciously allowed us to use their building.
Please contact me if I can answer any more questions.
I'll be presenting more on Hybrid Meetings at the conference! I've taken the feedback received from the TLI and have improved the presentation. If you want to know more about Hybrid meetings, please join me!
