Upcoming Training for All Toastmasters

*IMPORTANT UPDATE on Ask a Toastmaster Tuesdays - PLEASE READ

District 55 is evolving its training approach to better serve members through the new Specialized Training Series, replacing the previous Ask a Toastmaster format. While the former offered open Q&A opportunities, attendance showed a need for more flexible, focused, and impactful learning experiences. The new model provides sessions at varied times, each centered on a single topic for deeper learning, hands-on engagement, and meaningful discussion. Designed around member feedback, these trainings aim to address real challenges and deliver practical skills members can apply immediately. This shift marks an exciting step toward purposeful, member-driven growth—helping every Toastmaster in District 55 sharpen their skills, lead with confidence, and practice with purpose.

Additional webinars & trainings will occur sporadically throughout the year, so keep an eye on our calendar!

Officer Training Small Print

Officer Education Sessions
In order to receive credit for training, club officers need to attend all required general training sessions plus a 1-hour officer breakout session for your officer role. If you are holding more than one office or representing multiple clubs, you only need to attend one breakout session for one of your officer roles to receive credit for all. The Experienced Officer session (if available) will count toward credit for your officer role(s).

Club DCP Credit
To receive club credit, at least four club officers must attend the required three hours of training each semester. These TLIs are open to all members and provides a wealth of resources, best practices, Officer role guidance, and Pathways information.
