Chris Raneri, DTM
International Director, Region 3 (2025–2027)
A Toastmaster since 2013, Chris Raneri is a respected leader, mentor, and lifelong learner. With over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, he currently serves as Lead Network Technology Support Manager at AT&T, specializing in cloud-based systems and process improvement. Chris is passionate about empowering individuals through confident communication and servant leadership. His message will inspire you to unlock your full potential and embrace every opportunity to grow.
Sonny Melendrez
Award-Winning Broadcaster, Author, and Inspirational Speaker
Renowned for his boundless enthusiasm and heartfelt storytelling, Sonny Melendrez is a two-time Billboard National Radio Personality of the Year and member of the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. A celebrated voice in broadcasting and community service, Sonny has helped raise over $100 million for charitable causes and inspired millions through his work with Disney, McDonald’s, and national youth initiatives. His message on “Intentional Enthusiasm” will leave you uplifted, motivated, and ready to lead with joy and purpose.
Luisa Montalvo
World Champion of Public Speaking
A 65-year-old retiree and dog rescue volunteer from San Juan, Texas, won the 2024 Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking with her powerful speech “37 Strangers.” Drawing from a near-death experience, she honored the emergency responders who saved her life. Luisa is the first Hispanic to win the title. Known for her conversational style and heartfelt storytelling, she began public speaking at age 12. After rejoining Toastmasters 13 years ago, she rose to the top with resilience and grace. She dedicated her win to her late mother and aims to walk on stage next year.

Every meal will be an amazing Texas classic, from Tex-Mex to BBQ. No box lunches or minimal meals. Come with your Texas-sized appetite. This will not be one of those rubber chicken conferences!
