I have a great Idea for a new club. But it would require a "tweak" of the typical Toastmasters format. I'd like to start a club for coaches who want to coach. Using an 8-10 minute lightning rounds of coaching a peer. The Evaluation is of the execution of the coaching, and receptive interaction of the peer. The main focus of Leadership and Speech skills are still in effect. The primary roles are still required. It can be a cost effective solution for new coaches (from a biz, Corp, independent, or those studying/training in coaching who would like to practice.) Speeches are always welcome from pathways. But at least one coaching spot will be on the agenda.
Does this sound like a good fit for a Toastmasters Club? Or does it belong to the coaching industry too much to be a Toastmasters Club?
