We Need You to Attend the District Council Meeting on September 27
As elected officers, your attendance is vital.
Each club in good standing is entitled to two votes, typically cast by the President and Vice President of Education, or one of these officers holding both votes (proxy) if the other cannot attend. Each District Officer also holds one vote.
Attending the District Council Meeting enables officers to influence the actions and direction of our District with voting & feedback, to get information about District activities, and to network with other Toastmasters.
At THIS District Council Meeting, you are being asked to:
Approve the District budget - Vote to approve or reject the budget and other financial reports, which ensures the District's financial health
Approve District Leaders - Approve newly nominated leaders
Shape District Policy - Vote on changes to District policies & bylaws
