Members of Austin and San Antonio Rotary will hold a panel discussion about the Toastmaster/Rotary Alliance and how the two organizations can benefit each other.
The panel is coordinated by Discussion Leader, Stan See, DTM, PDD. Topics include an introduction to Rotary International, how the two organizations can work together and an overview of current rotary activities in which Toastmasters in San Antonio and Austin can get involved. Michael Pacheco has worked in banking for over 30 years and most recently 14 years with Broadway Bank in San Antonio, Texas in the role of VP-Financial Center Manger. He previously held roles in mortgage loan origination, client portfolio management and financial center management. Michael joined the Broadway Bank Toastmasters Club in March 2013 and the Stone Oak Rotary Club in June 2016. He served as the Stone Oak Rotary President from July 2018 to June 2019.

Amber Scarborough, Zone Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator (ARPIC), Austin Rotary District 5870Amber is a member of the South Austin Rotary Club, she is a Past President, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a Roll of Fame Recipient. Amber’s experience in marketing has come from running her own independent firm and having to learn several of these things “on the job.” She was asked to join the Public Relations team after making some fun I-Movies, which her son taught her to make to promote District Events. She has served on the District 5870 Central Texas Public Image team since 2015 and in 2020 was asked to serve as an Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator (ARPIC) for Zones 25b and 29.

Patrick Harrison, Central Texas Public Image Co-Chair, District 5870
Patrick Harrison has over 25 years’ experience in different facets of the entertainment industry, building a diverse resume working with notable names and studios in production, media and as a trained actor. Patrick is Team Leader for the RI Region 36 Innovative Communications Team and serves as HOC Vice Chair of Internet Marketing for the 2022 RI Convention Houston. Mr. Harrison hosted and moderated the 2020 RI Region 36 Virtual Zone Institute and currently co-produces, moderates and co-hosts the RI District 5870 Central Texas Zoom Series STAYING CONNECTED. He was Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator for Rotary International Zone 21b and part of 27 and 25b RY 2017-2020. |
Xavier Toson, District Governor, San Antonio Rotary, District 5840
A Rotarian since 2010, Xavier has served as Assistant Governor, President, Director, District Webmaster, and on many other committees within District 5840. He has a passion for helping the under-served, growing local economies, and is motivated by the idea of helping to make the world a better place. As an exceptional communicator with proven skill, Xavier has worked with people across different cultures, abilities, and perspectives. He is the Chairman of the African American Chamber of Commerce of San Antonio, member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the NAACP San Antonio Branch, an Alumni of the FBI Citizen’s Academy and Founding Board Member for the San Antonio Preparatory Charter School. He is the founder and CEO of Stash Media Group, LLC, a digital marketing agency based in San Antonio, Texas. |
