Pathways maintains Toastmasters' four guiding principles: experiential learning, self-paced learning, peer evaluation and mentoring. Each of the program's tailored learning paths have five levels of achievement, building progressively in complexity. Each path includes 14 projects, including a mix of required and elective projects. The highest level of achievement remains the DTM and you must complete two paths to meet the education requirement of achieving your DTM.

FAQ
- What if I don't like the Path I chose? You can exchange your path within 90 days of purchase, ONLY IF you have not marked any projects as complete. To exchange your path, please contact the Supply Orders team by email at supplyorders@toastmasters.org, or by phone at +1720-439-5050 ext 406. Phone hours are from M-F from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm MT. For more information, please view the return policy.
- What if I am a Dual Member (member of multiple clubs)? When on Toastmasters.org, you will need to select which club you would like your "home club" to be. This is the club you will join the interface for, when you select "Go To Basecamp". You can switch back and forth as often as you like, but keep in mind, your club's officers (especially the VPE) will not be able to see your records or approve any completion requests if you are not listed with the club in question as your "home club" at the time of reference (when the officer logs in).
- Make a plan with the VPEs of all of the clubs you are in, so they know which club should approve which requests and subsequently, enter these awards into TI for credit. This affects your club's DCP (Distinguished Club Program) Points, so please work with your VPEs so everyone has a clear understanding of expectations.
- What about members who are visually impaired? The Toastmasters Pathways learning experience is open to all members, including those with disabilities. Accessible educational materials are available (in English) to members who are blind or rely on assistive technology, such as a screen reader.
- New members who are visually impaired can either take the Pathways Assessment online with a sighted guide, or pick a path of their choosing. Consult with your club's VP-Education if you need assistance in choosing your path. To request accessible Pathways materials, e-mail supplyorders@toastmasters.org and indicate the selected path. The reply will include an attached .zip file archive containing all of the resources needed for the selected path, in HTML and MS-Word files that are compatible with screen reader applications (e.g. JAWS).
- For more information, see https://www.toastmasters.org/pathwaysaccessiblematerials
- I have feedback for TI, how do I let them know? You can submit feedback via the chat on the toastmasters website OR you can send an email to membership@toastmasters.org.
