Learning and applying leadership skills are important elements of success during your term as club Treasurer. Be sure to attend District-sponsored Club officer training events to learn how to fulfill your role effectively, network with other club officers in your District, and connect with trainers and District leaders who can help you in achieving success.
- preparing and oversee the club budget
- Managing the club bank account if applicable
- Preparing and sending membership dues statements to members by September 1 and March 1
- Collecting and submitting Membership Dues Payments to TI via Club Central (Clubs must have at least 8 paid members to stay active)
- Paying Club bills
- Attending the Club Executive meetings
You accomplish your responsibilities by:
- Keeping clear and accurate records of all club financial transactions
- Receiving and paying Club bills
- Transmitting all records to your successor in office
