I am truly proud and excited to be elected as your Lieutenant Governor Marketing for the 2011 – 2012 Toastmasters year. We have a dynamic District, and I am privileged to be a member of an extremely talented, enthusiastic and dedicated District Leadership Team. This year looks to be an Outstanding Year for the District and we will all be working extra hard to ensure that it is. Please visit the website frequently throughout the year for updates on Marketing Incentives, Membership Contest results, New Club announcements, key dates to mark on your calendar, and to find out how we’re doing as a District toward meeting our marketing goals for the year.

Thank you for visiting our website. If you would like to find a Toastmasters club to join, please visit our Find a Club page. We have a number of clubs throughout Central, South Texas and South-West Texas that will greet you warmly, make you very welcome, and provide a supportive environment for you to grow your communication and leadership skills. Once you find a club that is convenient for your schedule, please call the contact person for the club to confirm the meeting details.

To Our Members

This year we will be focusing on NOT ONLY expanding our Club and Membership base but ALSO strengthening our EXISTING Club and Membership base. Without a strong foundation of existing Clubs and members, it is difficult to support and maintain the level of growth that we believe that we can achieve. To that end, we will be providing a range of Contests and Incentives to support the following Programs:

Our New Club Program and Club Coaching Program are already off to a great start and I’d like to welcome and thank those club sponsors, mentors and coaches that have already volunteered to support these Programs. If you are interested in serving as a Club Sponsor or Mentor please visit the District 55 New Club Program page. As District Leaders, we are here to support YOU, the members of District 55, as we continue to grow membership and establish new clubs. Please don’t hesitate to contact me or any other District Officer, if you need assistance.
