Welcome to the District 55 website. District 55 stretches from Temple and Killeen to Victoria and Del Rio and the Rio Grande Valley, including Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi. We are deep in the heart of Texas and overflowing with Texan hospitality. Whether you are a seasoned Toastmaster, a new member, an interested pre-Toastmaster, or someone visiting our site for the first time, we are eager to help. Please explore the website. - The Jack Rabbit Dash Program encourages members, clubs, and officers to get the Toastmaster year off to a fast start. 77 clubs and 13 Area Governors received recognition. Complete 2010 results are available on the Jack Rabbit Dash Program page.

The mission of the district is to enhance the performance and extend the network of clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from the Toastmasters educational program by:

- Insuring that each club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members.
- Providing effective training and leadership opportunities for club and district officers.
