I was born in Atlanta, GA before migrating to Oklahoma. I know, a dirty word here in Texas! In 1994, I realized Texas was the place to be and moved to Fort Worth. I went from Fort Worth to Galveston, and finally landed in Austin in 1997. In 2002, I realized that if I was going to be successful in my career as a Certified Financial Planner, I better learn to speak to more than one person without shaking in my boots. That is when I joined Get Up 'n Go. The extremely nice members of this club, combined with the support and positive feedback from everyone, is what keeps me coming back every Monday morning. Over the years, I have learned a lot about speaking, communicating, and leading in Toastmasters. And I look forward to continuing that learning and growth process with my fellow Toastmasters!
