What is Toastmasters?
At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment.
Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped more than four million men and women improve their communication and leadership skills. Through regular meetings and speaking opportunities at member clubs, Toastmasters International helps people to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams.
In one of more than 120 Toastmasters clubs in south-central Texas, you'll learn to relax, plan and present a terrific speech, whether you have ten days to prepare—or just ten seconds. It's all part of Toastmasters International, the world's largest organization devoted to making effective oral communication a worldwide reality.
Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization which gives its members the opportunity to develop and improve their public speaking abilities through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. Toastmasters International includes more than 199,000 members in more than 9,300 clubs in more than 70 countries.
